Mission Statement
Serving the community since 1983, the Face à Face Listening and Intervention Centre is a non-profit community organization dedicated to supporting socially isolated and vulnerable individuals, with an emphasis on those who are at-risk, or who are currently experiencing unstable housing conditions. We use an intervention-based approach that focuses on facilitating humanistic partnerships, personal empowerment, as well as community-based efforts to encourage social reintegration and individual fulfillment. To fulfill our mission, Face à Face employs frontline psychosocial interventions consisting of active listening, long-term counselling, as well as housing search and mailbox services.
Vision
Everyone deserves access to secure housing, to be listened to and to be given hope when they think they have none. We strive to create an inclusive society where every individual, regardless of their past challenges or circumstances, is empowered to reintegrate fully in the community and thrive.
